Girls Home

The Kinshasa Girls Orphan Home currently has 20 girls living there. All of the girls attends school regularly. The girls are loved and cared for by "Mama" who is pictured here with them below. The girls home is a rented house that we are planning to move out of as soon as our new Church Orphan Home is built in a safer location.

New Developments for the Kinshasa Girl's Home (DR Congo)
Praise God for answering prayers regarding our girls children's home in Kinshasa. The home, which we have been renting, is now on it's way to becoming ours. Thanks to the generous giving of some we have been able to get on track to purchase the home with a $4,500 down payment. Not only that but Pastor Ejiba went to the World Bank for help and they have committed to supporting the good work of the home by paying for all the renovations! The building has been in a terrible condition, but is now up for a make over! They will fix it up; make it safe and secure, as it is not in the best of locations.

Our long-term goal is to build a new Church Orphan Home for more orphans in a new and safe location. Due to continued violence in the city and a fragile political peace we are asking the Lord for this new home where sisters can be reunited with their brothers and grow up in a better family based environment. Please pray about this current project and pray that the vital funding for this new home be met through generous people from around the world.
